A couple of days ago (I am writing about it today, because today is a rainy day and I wish it was a sunny one) my friend and I went to a park. It was a beautiful day, we finished work earlier and we knew that it was too beautiful of a day to waste it inside.
When I woke up in the morning and saw what a beautiful day it was I knew that it was going to be a fun day. I don’t know why but I am always happy and inspired when the sun is shining. The best thing of all was that the sun was warm. Other days when it was sunny it was still cold, but today Spring really came out!
So because I felt inspired and I was so full of energy I decided to curl my too straight and too stubborn hair and while I was at it I decided to try and experiment with make up a little. I wear make up almost every day and I wear different looks, but I was too lazy in the past week and I missed my brushes.
I was very happy with my end results. My eyeliner came out so perfectly that I had to check 3 times if I was not seeing wrong. I need a little more than a half an hour to curl my hair but I didn’t mind because I love wavy and voluminous hair. With the perfect eyeliner and crazy curls I was ready to seize the day!
There are a lot of parks in the city and we have visited some of them, however there are so many yet to discover and we were in the mood to find a new one!!! Yeeey, adventure.
We looked on our map (which has been folded and unfolded so many times it’s a miracle it’s still in one piece) and we found a pretty big one on the North part of the town. We wondered how we didn’t discovered it sooner and we wondered how it looked like. The journey there was a bit long, since we live in the south part of the town, but driving with a tram still amazes me, so it was pretty fun.
We found out that the park is HUGE (since we saw it from the tram before we even arrived) and we fell in love with it instantly, because everything was GREEN!
We strolled a little around the park and then sat down on a bench because we had strawberries with us and they just smelled too good not to be eaten!
It was perfect: warm sun on my skin, peaceful park and delicious strawberries. You can’t ask for more. We sat on the bench for hours, watching children run around, play and laugh. I couldn’t help but think back to the memories when I was so carefree and all I had to worry about were my scratched knees. I was really enjoying watching them be happy and enjoy the outside world.
After a while it got cold again so we started going back. On our way to the tram, at the edge of the park we saw some bunnies! They were so cute and fluffy. I wanted to get closer to take a picture of them but they heard me coming so they ran away. Still, it was a perfect ending to a sunny day! My friend and I loved the park so much, that we decided that every time the weather will be nice, we go out, buy some strawberries and return to the park, because it was simply the best!
